16 June 2007 -- DongDaeMun at night

Since I got free time in the office and my English seems to be rusting, I will write my diary in English for a while =) Hope no one would mind. (As a matter of fact, I don't  think there are many people reading my diary anywayz XDD, Whatever~)

Saturday

Again, as I have not yet got many friends in Seoul, I gotta travel alone. And this plan is not very interesting to me either. As a result, I stayed in the room for most of the day. Seoul is more lively at nights anywayz =P.

O, and I finally got to go to the cheaper market near the guesthouse. In terms of fresh vegetables and diary products, stuff there are much cheaper. And see the little bottles of yogurt-like drinks below? They taste very similar to Yault but it only cost 1000 for a package!! (=3x5 = 15bottles) Soooooo cool~! I love that so much XDD

And I bought these banana milk too. They are gonna be my breakfast this week =) 2800 for 4, = 700 for a day = 6.14 HKD a day. Not that bad at all =)

Just when I thought that that's it for the day and moaning on why I have done absolutely nothing today, several people from the guesthouse are going to Dongdaemun at night! So I joined them and have a walk in the Dongdaemun shopping area. It was so different from daytime. Last time, I went there to shop within the shopping mal. However, this time, we mostly went for the temporary stalls that open at night on the pavement in front of the brand shops.

The goods of these stalls are of course of a lower quality, however, it much cheaper as well. It is very similar to the Ladies?Market in Hong Kong in a way. And my friend from India has probably seen too little counterfeits before?=O= ?he was so excited by the T-shirts and everything. He just kept on shopping and being excited by the extremely low price and not-that-bad-quality as compared to the brand T shirts like PUMA. At the same time, he found out that the Puma shop in Dongdaemun gives a much cheaper price than the one in Myeongdong, which is really strange. Hmmm?. Anywayz, we just walk around, around and around. We barely made ourselves to leave at 12 (or there will be no more bus to get back to guesthouse XD) and everyone bought sth as well. =) I guess I might still go another time for more shopping XDD~~
